I am looking to feature stores/products/companies that do something “good” – maybe they contribute to a specific cause, or it is a company that does not test on animals, or it is good for the environment, or something like that. That is the goal of this – as well as entertaining you! I like to be entertained too so I will do what I can to make that happen!

week done…time really flies when we’re having fun, doesn’t it?! Actually this
week was kind of long – probably because this is going to be a 3-day weekend
and I get a bonus work-from-home day next week. *Grin! :D
was a great time though! The hubby and I went out with a friend of mine from
work and her husband for the first time. We really had fun! It was a great way
to wrap up the week, and I know we are looking forward to another get-together
seems that you are interested in seeing what gets me through the weeks so I
think I’m going to continue with the Weekly Wrap Ups…any feedback about them
would be great and very appreciated! I want you to be happy too – so please,
please tell me what you like about the Shop Good – Do Good blogs. J
what I was really enjoying this week:
nail polish (yes, I’m a girl obsessed! I've had this on my toes for about a month now and still love it - and yes, I'm in dire need of a pedicure at this point!):
scarf is really coming along. I think at this point I might be about halfway
done. There was one little mess-up, but I’m hoping it won’t be noticeable.
movie “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”…I’ve watched it about a million times, and
would watch it that many more. It might possibly catch up to “Pretty Woman”,
but that might be a tough one. I can identify that movie by the single chime of
the elevator – true story – I’ve done it before! (What!?! There’s nothing wrong with that!)
bangs – I think I’m going for it. Unless I chicken out before then…we’ll see!
of course I’m still loving my cookies, brownies, and taffy that the hubby got
for me for Valentine’s Day – they are soooo yummy!!! And the boxes they came in
are so cute!
I’m really enjoying the friend that we went out with tonight. She is pregnant
and the cutest pregnant womangirl
gal (okay so I’m not sure how I would refer to my friends and myself…woman
feels too old, girl – too young, chic – is that sexist?, babe – um, no. So I
guess I’ll just go with gal!). Anyway, she keeps work fun and we all had a
great time at dinner tonight!
from pregnant we get to babies, and babies need diapers, and with diapers there
are many options and choices – disposable or cloth? Brands and sizes.
offers a few different choices – they have the diaper covers and you can choose
from 100% biodegradable gRefills (“a disposable diaper that truly goes back to
the earth, rather than sitting on top of it” and they are flushable) or the gCloth (which is a “washable insert
choose the insert, put it in the diaper cover, and snap that little bad boy on

easy enough to me!
did this all start? “One day over breakfast, Jason and Kim Graham-Nye came
across an interesting fact. They found that conventional disposable diapers are
the third largest contributors to landfills in the world. And yet! Only five
percent of the population uses them. Crazy. It was a fact of stunning
proportion met by another amazing fact: a single disposable diaper can take up
to 500 years to biodegrade in the landfill.”
could tell you about our earth friendly diapers until we’re blue in the face.
But being green takes more than words. Don’t you think?”
out this pageon their site to get more information about how gDiapers is good
to the earth. A few of the highlights are that the gRefills are 100%
biodegradable, they can be composted, or even flushed; they are also Cradle to
